About the Fair
At the Design and Retail Career Fair, you'll be able to explore opportunities, engage with employers, and make an impression that can help you to stand out in the job or internship application process. Prepare a resume, have an elevator pitch, and dress in a way that is authentic to you. Registration suggested, drop-ins welcome.
This fair supports students in Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Retail and Consumer Studies, User Experience (UX) Design, and is open to all UMN students.

Are you worried about what you should wear, what employers want to hear from you or how to differentiate yourself from your peers? Worry not, during this session we will be offering insider tips from our CDes Career Consultants, explaining how the fair is set up, how you can excel at your elevator pitch and more! Hear from an employer panel of Design professionals across industries and leave with tips and answers to all of your questions. Free food for all attendees! Tuesday, February 17, 4-5:30pm, 33 McNeal Hall.
